Problem

When inserting a group of rows into a spreadsheet that uses Data Outlook Group feature, the existing outline is broken in two pieces

This requires the group outline to be removed and re-established

What is Happening

When you cut and paste rows, excel recognizes that the rows are not grouped and therefore should be treated as ungrouped.

This happens even if you paste them into the middle of an existing group

Solution

To fix the problem, use the Data > Outline > Group feature to pre-group your rows to the correct level prior to using cut and paste

So for example, if the spreadsheet you are pasting into has 2 group layers

Then you will need to establish 2 group layers on the rows you want to move prior to using cut and paste.
