This poster demonstrates what the Ice BeaM Team created as a student build for the VWEC Student Challenge 2023 to show how to create a serious simulation of educational content in a 3D immersive environment. High schools students featured an innovative simulation on light refraction, rainbows, prisms and lenses alongside content on original animated characters. These were the youngest participants in the challenge and their high-quality work illustrates best practices for virtual worlds in education.
Objectives:
Participants will observe the abilities of young people to embed serious learning into an immersive simulation.
