The purpose of this presentation is to look at the metaverse is no longer controlled by big corporations like Meta/Facebook. Using Unity 3d, Extremality, and a photon server, a VR multiplayer sim or metaverse of a virtual field trip to the Jurassic WAS CREATED. This simulation was used at a museum and in classes at a high school. Details of how the sim was created, funded, and how students scored on tests after using the simulation will be presented.
Objective:
Participants will get a better understanding of how a metaverse can be used in the classroom.
