3D Virtual Worlds (VWs) can afford further creative possibilities for art and game design applications. They can mesh and present different types of arts - visual/virtual art, creative/script-writing, and performance-based art (music and theater) - together in real-time virtual platforms as exhibit/performance/game worlds. Also, they challenge the traditional way artists and art audiences interact with one another and the arts. In this poster presentation, I will present my media art and game design students' participatory performance in real-time events. The student artists role-played with the audience to tell stories in the co-created virtual art spaces. The curriculum, pedagogy, student reflections, and challenges will be discussed.
