Win10 Mic Permissions
PROBLEM
Even though the sound is working perfectly, my mic does not work after the latest windows update.

Go to Settings > Privacy Settings > Microphone
Under "Allow access to the microphone on this device" click on 'change' and make sure the setting is set to 'on'
Under "Allow apps to access your microphone" switch the setting from 'off' to 'on'
You can then specify which apps can access your microphone.
