Can't go to Bali or Bermuda during COVID? Come to Virtual Singapore which recreates Beach Road which fronts the Malay heritage precinct of Singapore showing what it may have looked like 200 years ago before land reclamation and high rises. South-East Asia is rarely featured in virtual worlds. We have made significant efforts to recreate an authentic historical experience of Singapore's early colonial days. Singapore, Circa 1825 is an imaginative recreation of the early trading port established by Sir Stamford Raffles of the British East India Company in 1819. He relocated Sultan Hussein Shah from a nearby Island with 600 retainers and Malay traders. Chinese, Indian and Arabs followed. Malay boat-building skills supported the trading port which made the tiny island of Singapore the busiest container entrepot in the world, now second only to Shanghai since 2009.
This location is open for self-exploration.
- Visitors will see history recreated, enhanced by animated NPCs with an audio tour HUD.
