3D Diver Training: PADI Enriched Air Diver Certification Online and in Second Life

3D Diver Training has developed a unique educational system using immersive 3D environments, scripted tools and simulators to meet specific performance requirements for the internationally recognised PADI Enriched Air Diver certification. Divers can now earn this qualification by taking PADI eLearning online and learning gas analysis and dive planning techniques in Second Life. Until now, divers had to do this at a physical dive centre. Enriched Air Diver is PADI's most popular specialty for certified divers. Diving with enriched air (aka nitrox or EANx), divers get more decompression time, especially on repetitive dives, within typical recreational scuba depths.
- Be able to describe how divers complete performance requirements in a 3D simulation, not a dive shop
- Be able to leverage Second Life technology to meet highly technical course objectives
