During the pandemic learning when schools, and everything else, were suddenly shut down, it became crystal clear that social-emotional skills were more important than academic skills. To reach for the stars, we must reach out to every learner and connect with them. Rita Pierson may have put it best in her TEDTalk - kids don't learn from people they don't like. This video looks at some tools that I use to connect with learners who are teachers.
