Nurturing social responsibility with the SORBET Project

VWBPE 2021 Presentation
Presented: March 19, 2021
Speaker: Veritas Raymaker (SL), National Institute of Education, Singapore

In the Socially Responsible Behavior through Embodied Thinking (SORBET)) Project, students engage with two complementary halves: an in-world activity within OpenSim, and a subsequent (face-to-face or home-based learning) dialogic session, during which consequences of choices during the in-world activity are discussed. During 2020, the activity was carried out in several schools in Singapore. Results from these enactions will be shared. International collaborations are welcome.

  • To help attendees learn about the project with a view to possible enaction in their own contexts.
